See panoramic mountain sunrises & sunsets! Built in 2004 and situated on a 22-acre private estate, this scenic gentleman’s farm is located one mile from I81 and three miles from Lexington, Va. in the Shenandoah Valley. Summer House is a large 5,500 square foot Manor House with an open living concept. Beautiful, lush gardens adorn the Summer House from every side with large stately Oaks and Maples. In May, enjoy the gentle scent of over 250 heirloom peonies in bloom or take a leisurely stroll in the Peony Labyrinth. At Summer House you will be surrounded by class & comfort - a requirement for enjoying mountain living!

Enjoy a well appointed gourmet kitchen, large family gathering room and in the evening relax on the spacious front country porch while catching up with friends and family. During the morning and afternoon hours, enjoy a dip in the pool or hot tub by the large garden patio out back with both a grill and fire pit available for you’re foodie needs, or book a relaxing massage at our on-site Signature Massage Studio.
Conveniently located near Washington & Lee University, Virginia Military Institute, Virginia Horse Center and downtown Historic Lexington, Virginia.
Roanoke, Lynchburg, Staunton, Waynesboro, Fishersville, Bridgewater, Harrisonburg, Charlottesville, are all within a 1-hour drive.

HUGE Main ensuite with a queen sized bed and a full sleeper sofa, luxurious marble bath with double jacuzzi, and separate water closet. Granite top coffee nook with sink and walk in closet with an attached large office suite offering a full office desk and queen sleep sofa. Main ensuite overlooks poolside for lovely mountain sunsets.
Expansive two story great room with gas fireplace, large 4K TV, and two French doors for access to poolside and patio. A custom culinary kitchen stocked with all your cooking needs with room for all (includes gourmet Aga stove, microwave & Coffee station) providing seating for 16 to dine; half powder room; full laundry facilities with bathroom featuring stackable front load washer/dryer; large front country porch with amazing mountain views seating 14.
Second Floor
The gallery secured with solid mahogany railing for fun viewing to the main floor offers a main suite with relaxing sunsets overlooking poolside with double full beds, closet, private bath and sitting area. A Jack n Jill suite comprised of one king sized bed, private sink area with closet and double full sized beds with private sink and walk in closet.
Lower Level & Pool Area
the lower level interior offers a full wet bar with ice machine and refrigerator. Main suite with King sized bed, twin murphy bed and queen sleep sofa, walk in closet, and full bathroom. Main suite can be offered as a bridal suite with advanced notice; Pool table with gas fire place; game/theater room with a 60" 4K TV; patio leading to a relaxing pool & hot tub with 8 loungers, 4 large umbrella to seek refuge on a hot day and comfortable social lounge seating for 5; large firepit for stary nights.
